Sagittarius influence is warming the Earth with the very rays of the Sun. While assessing the current chart this morning, the first word that popped into my head was expansion. The Sag season is all about capturing the big picture; everyone seems to be attuned to it and it’s easier to map a plan and see the end goal. With fire energy now dominating the astro scene, there’s more determination to follow through with those plans as well.
Expansion implies change, an inherent quality to the mutable sign of Sagittarius, and can apply to any and all facets of our lives: personal, emotional, spiritual, financial — or maybe you have an itch to physically expand, to travel. There is a great call to action, to follow through, a drive to move forward from a place where we might feel stuck in. Maybe you’ve felt stuck for a very long time and are feeling more eager to tear yourself out of a rut.
Change is a word that frightens people. Understandably so, as change usually carries with it a degree of discomfort that most people steer clear of for fear of failure. But with mutable energy showering us from the Sun, there is no better time to make those changes and to follow through with them.
The time to consider the future in all aspects of our lives is right now, be it through improving oneself, pursuing academic or career goals, or setting up other long term goals. Perhaps arranging a future move or setting up a payment plan for a loan would work well for you during this time.
There is also a sense of wildness in Sagittarius, a voice inside of us that tells us to take that risk we’ve been so afraid of. Sagittarius speaks highly of spontaneity and beckons us to embrace it. Take that road trip. Ask out your crush. Wear that cute dress that’s been hanging unworn in your closet for months. Do something daring, even if you’re the only one who sees it. No matter what it is, no risk is too small, and you will thank yourself for it.
Sagittarius season gives us the courage to expand in all ways, especially in ways we’re afraid of. Listen to your gut and follow your instincts. When your heart speeds up a little at the risk, don’t ignore it — allow it to become the drum solo of your new beat as you take a step in a new direction.
